WPPI!

Just got back from WPPI in Las Vegas! I went with fellow photographers Shannon, Rachel and Miranda. It was so much fun to connect with other photographers from across the nation, and the seminars were great. I can't wait to start using some of the goodies I picked up at the trade show! For all of you future brides out there, I will be ordering a sample coffee table album soon, there are some really great ones available! Also cool, gallery wraps! I have offered these in the past, but the variety of sizes and finishes now available is awesome, I highly recommend checking these out for a great way to display your photos as artwork!
Here's a pic of Shannon, Rachel and I in front of the conference center, courtesy of Rachel.

And preparing to listen to JB and DeEtte Salle (top wedding photographers in Dallas 4 yrs running) We got front row seats and were proud of our trade show swag! :)

I am looking forward to this being an annual trip to reconnect with my photog friends as well as gain valuable resources to continue to better my business and skills.

Barrington Family

Check out this beautiful family!

Kristy and her girls

What beautiful girls! After a weekend of taking pictures of rambunctious toddlers it was fun to get to photograph these older girls. I can't wait until my own kiddos are old enough to smile together for a picture on command :)

The Armstrong Family

Check out those baby blues! This was a little boy with a capital "B" which made for such a fun shoot. We climbed trees and ran around a lot in the grass in between shots. That is what I absolutely love about outdoor shoots, I feel like people, especially kids, are so much more at ease, which leads to some great photos that really capture their personalities.

Holiday Mini shoots

Wow, what a busy weekend! 7 shoots in two days! On the way to the holiday mini shoot location I ran into several closed streets and two walking marathons, so I was afraid that this might be indicitive of a rough day to come. Fortunately I couldn't have been more wrong! The shoots went smoothly, all the kiddos were awesome, and the weather even cooperated with some clouds to shade us in the morning (unheard of here in Phoenix!) Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
